Convert a whole list of Alberta legal land descriptions to GPS coordinates and UTM at once - or coordinates back to LLDs. Up to 1,000 rows, free, no signup. Download the results as a CSV.
Leading zeros and dashes are optional - "1-7-105-2W6" works the same as "01-07-105-02 W6". Rows that match no surveyed parcel are flagged, not dropped.
Yes. Convert up to 1,000 rows per run, in either direction, with no account or signup. It is rate-limited to keep it available for everyone, but a person pasting a spreadsheet will never hit that limit.
Paste one LLD per line into the box (or upload a CSV and pick the LLD column), keep the direction on "LLD to coordinates", and press Convert. Each row returns latitude/longitude and UTM NAD83, and you can download the whole result as a CSV.
The same flexible parser as the single lookup: full LSDs (01-07-105-02 W6), quarter sections (NW-24-053-01 W5), sections (07-105-02 W6), and townships (105-02 W6). Dashes, spaces, and leading zeros are optional.
Yes. Switch the direction to "Coordinates to LLD" and paste one "latitude, longitude" pair per line. Each point that falls on the Alberta Township System grid returns its Legal Land Description.
Bad rows never fail the whole file. Each row is converted independently and marked OK or flagged with a short reason, so you can fix just the rows that need it and re-run.
Latitude/longitude in WGS 84 (decimal degrees) and UTM NAD83 easting/northing with the zone (11 or 12), which is what most Alberta report tables use. Coordinates are parcel centroids from the ATS grid - appropriate for mapping and figures, not legal survey work.
